First Perfume

Ever-enchanting and my first fragrance, Oscar de la Renta's Ruffles. Released in 1983, it was dedicated to "the woman who listens with her heart." The perfume bottle design was inspired by two hearts that Oscar traced in the sand on a beach, while thinking of the woman he loves. A wave rippled over the hearts to join them. With such poetic beauty in it's design and scent, my love of perfume was born.
